The New Anker PowerHouse II 300 a Portable Power for All Your Devices

You understand how challenging it may be to keep all of your devices adequately charged if you frequently spend many hours or even days without access to a power source. The Anker PowerHouse II 300 aims to solve that problem with a sizable battery and a number of useful features. In this evaluation, we examine the PowerHouse’s capabilities.
Anker items have always been favorites of mine. The business has never let me down and offers a wide range of high-quality cables, power devices, and other items at affordable pricing.

The Anker PowerHouse II 300 (model 523) is essentially a very large battery (289 Wh) inside a convenient portable housing and paired with a variety of useful features and connections for charging devices. To put into perspective how big a 289 Wh battery is, the PowerHouse II 300 can charge a 2020 MacBook Air 3-4 times, an iPad Air 7 times, an iPhone 13 20 times, or a typical camera 16 times. It can also run a mini-fridge for over 5 hours or a typical LED television for about 6 hours.

Usage is as simple as you may expect. The gadget weighs 9.2 lbs (4.2 kg), which is big but not excessive. Since batteries’ weight scales with their capacity, no one can anticipate a featherweight device if they want a decent amount of capacity.

The warmth of the ambient bar is welcomed, and both lights are sufficiently bright for their intended uses. The display turns on to show the amount of charge left, the current wattage, and the amount of time left after turning on the lamps or plugging in the appliance and pressing the corresponding control button.

It was extremely accurate, in my opinion; when I put in my 85-watt MacBook Pro charger, the power level was constant at that level the entire time, and more importantly, the charging pace was comparable to that of a permanent outlet. To save power, the display shuts off again after a short while, but you can push the button to see it once again.

My phone and tablet were also plugged in at the same time as the laptop, and they both charged at maximum speed with no problems. Of course, it’s convenient that the device automatically optimizes charging speed without requiring any manual settings. Remember that the AC outlet has a 300 watt maximum capacity, so don’t expect to plug in a space heater or other high-power electrical gadget.
